Synopsis:

Billy lives with his grandmother, Dev in a former industrial town that has seen better days. Billy struggles to keep them both afloat as Dev sinks deeper and deeper into Alzheimer’s and delusions. We learn of Billy’s mothers recent death as Dev clings ever more fiercely to her fractured memory and we are forced to ask ourselves how long can this reality last?

 

‘Her Majesty’ was selected as a semifinalist in the ScreenCraft stage play competition 2021.

The play has been shortlisted by the BBC writers room 2021.
